Working for All of Us!
Rehoboth Beach Voters Deserve A Voice
Citizens are coming together to fight against the violation of our civil rights by the Rehoboth Beach Board of Commissioners.
Rehoboth Beach Board of Commissioners recently made drastic changes to the town Charter with LITTLE OR NO public notice or input.
The recent changes to the Charter include a package to:
-
Raise taxes higher
-
Skyrocket wasteful spending
-
Remove guardrails protecting us
-
Increase power to the bureaucrats
This would take away protections that the legislature put in place for us.
This is unacceptable, especially when several changes were made in the dark without proper public notice.
Rehoboth Beach requires 7 days of public notice before changing the charter. For some of these changes, the commissioners gave only five minutes.
Now, these changes are on track to be approved by the General Assembly in Dover. We cannot let this happen.
How You Can Help:
Take action now by emailing Representative Snyder-Hall and Senator Huxtable that you do NOT support:
-
Surrendering our protections.
-
Removing our ability to limit debt.
-
Eliminating our ability to have any say over bureaucratic overreach and financial mismanagement.
